Chancery SMS Bridge 2.1.2.4 (5 May, 2008)

Overview

The Chancery SMS Bridge for Principalm allows you to export your student data into Principalm.

Required Version

This bridge requires Principalm v7.2.0 or later.

Known Issues

This Bridge has not been tested on versions lower than 6.3.

Grades are currently not extracted on most systems. Due to the ID_SMS_CLASS field being null in the CSL_SMS_STUDENT_GRADES table.

Version 2.0.3.0 (April 17th, 2007) adds the following features and fixes:

  • Adds Conduct.

  • Automatically deletes old pdus from previous school years.

  • Fixes scheduling issues where the timetable information is not exported (Period, Day and Reporting Period)
  • Exports Rotation Day information
  • Exports additional Student Demographic information.

Version 2.0.2.0 (December 5th, 2006) adds the following features and fixes:

  • Fixes issue with using the "Schedule This School" button if your school year contains a / character.

Version 2.0.1.1 (October 17th, 2006) adds the following features and fixes:

  • Fixes issue with Calendar year being pulled from a deprecated database field.
  • Added Nickname. (Preferred Name)
  • Fixed Grade Level bug where the grade was not being displayed on the school tab.
  • Added Homeroom for schools that use the Homeroom field in the student table. Previous version only supported section based homerooms.

Version 2.0.0.0 (September 6th, 2006) adds the following features and fixes:

  • Supports all features found in Principalm 7.1
  • Adds Bell Schedule
  • City and Language Lookups now pull from DESC field instead of CODE field.
