Search
The Search screen provides a sorted, searchable listing of database elements.

Search Screen
To choose what to search for
Click the underlined link at the top left (that reads “Students” in the example to the right). Choose what you would like to search for from the list that appears.
To choose what characteristics to search by
Click the underlined link at the top, second from the left (that reads “by name” in the example to the right). Choose what to search by from the list that appears.
To choose a school to search in
Click the underlined link at the top right (that reads “Principalm High” in the example to the right). Choose a school from the list that appears.
To enter search information
Highlight the text box at the top of the screen, and begin entering text on your device. The list will update automatically after a short pause.
If you are currently searching by birthday, the text box switches to a date box, enter a date to search for it.
To clear search text
Highlight the grey circle with white X icon inside the text edit area, and click it to erase the text.
To view more results
When the list contains many items, only the first few are shown. To see more items, scroll to the bottom of the list and choose “More Results”.

Choose from the chapters at the top right, and then from the tabs at the bottom, to select between Students, Staff, Classes, Conduct Incidents, and Conduct Outcomes.
To sort the display
Sort by any visible column by clicking on its header.
To choose a school to search in
Click the schoolhouse in the bottom left corner. Choose a school from the list that appears.
To enter search information
The currently sorted column is the column that the search applies to. Depending on the column’s contents, the bottom of the screen will show either a text entry box, or a date selection tool. Use that control to enter information to search by.
To clear search text
Click the X button at the bottom right beside the search text box.
