Installation
iPhone
Principalm+ must first be installed using the App Store. If you already have Principalm installed, skip to the transferring data section below.
- On your device, open the App Store.
- Click Search.
- Type “Principalm”, and then select it from the list.
- Click Principalm, then Free, and then Install.
- Enter your iTunes password, and then click OK.
Once Principalm is installed, you will be able to start it any time by clicking on it.
Transferring data (Note: Before data can be transferred Principalm Connect must have ran an update to the “iPhone Update Service”. If you have not completed this step, click here.):
- After the installation completes, open the Principalm application.
- Click Sync.
- Select the name of the computer running Principalm Connect. Your school data will be downloaded.
- After the download is complete you will be asked for your Password. Enter the password you typed in Principalm Connect, then click Go.
- You will be brought into Principalm. You can now view a list of student and their photos (if they exist). Tap on a student name to access detailed information such as demographic and contact information.
BlackBerry
- On the BlackBerry, open the Media application.
- Press the Menu button, and choose Explore.
Choosing Explore from Media
- Open the Media Card folder.
- Select “Install Principalm.htm”.
- Choose the link that matches your device operating system. If you don’t know which operating system your device uses, scroll to the bottom and select “Help Me Choose”.
- In the window that appears, choose Download.
- If you already have another copy of Principalm installed, you will be asked whether to overwrite it. Choose Yes.
- After the installation is complete, the BlackBerry will prompt you to reboot, choose Reboot. If you are not prompt to reboot your BlackBerry device after the Principalm+ installation, please reinstall Principalm+ on your BlackBerry device, and the reboot prompt should follow.
Once Principalm is installed, you will be able to start it any time by clicking on it in the ribbon.
Palm
Palm installation is accomplished by inserting the card into the Palm. The automated installer will then replace any previous version of Principalm with the version that is compatible with the data on the card.
Once Principalm is installed, you can start it any time without removing/reinserting the card by locating Principalm in the applications screen of your Palm.
Windows Mobile
Windows Mobile installation is accomplished by inserting the card into the device. The automated installer will then replace any previous version of Principalm with the version that is compatible with the data on the card.
Once Principalm is installed, you can start it any time without removing/reinserting the card by locating Principalm in Programs.
