BlackBerry Storm keyboard cannot be hidden in Principalm+
If you are having issues hiding the keyboard on a BlackBerry Storm device:
a. You are not familiar with the touch screen. Instead of sliding the keyboard up and down try selecting the menu button and choosing “Hide/Show Keyboard”.
b. You initially installed an incorrect version of Principalm+ on your BlackBerry Storm device. (You will notice blue bars on each side of the screen within Principalm+).
If you’ve installed an incorrect version, please follow these steps to correct the issue:
Uninstall Principalm+. Please refer to Principalm Uninstall for directions on deleting Principalm+.
Reinstall Principalm+. Please follow the Principalm+ Installation guide, for instructions on installing Principalm+ on BlackBerry.
Disable Compatibility Mode. When Principalm BlackBerry.jad is installed on a BlackBerry Storm, this enables compatibility mode on the device which needs to be disabled to allow full functionality of Principalm+ on BlackBerry Storm devices.
To Disable Compatibility Mode:
a. Access BlackBerry menu and select Options
b. Choose Advanced Options
c. Choose Applications
d. Locate Principalm and highlight it (do not select it)
e. Click the menu button and chose “Disable Compatibility Mode”
Principalm+ should now run correctly.
