If birth dates are showing up correctly in the database, but NOT in Principalm:
This may happen when the date and time is not set correctly in the handheld. Principalm uses the date set in the handheld and the birth date value imported for the student to determine the age.
To set the correct date/time on your handheld:
On Palm: a. Select Prefs from the Main Menu screen b. Select Date & Time c. Click on the Date box d. Use the Set Date dialog to select the date e. Assure that todays date is in the Date box on the Date & Time screen f. Do the same for the time setting.
On Windows Mobile:
a. Select Program->Settings from the Start menu b. Click on Clock & Alarms c. Modify the Home Settings for Date and Time using the Clock & Alarm dialog.
