How do I install my Principalm+ license key?
After you receive your Principalm+ license key, follow these steps to update your license.
If you received a .PAF file
- Save the .PAF file to your main hard drive (desktop recommended).
- Run Principalm Connect.
- Click “Schools”.
- Under the License section, click “Edit”.
- Choose “Load from File” (here you will browse to locate the saved .paf file).
- After selecting the file, it will load into the license box, and information about the license will appear under the box. Click “OK”.
- If you are using a Data Extractor bridge, run the Data Extractor and follow steps 4-6 to update the license. If you are using a Report Reader bridge, please follow the steps in its user guide.
If your received a license in the body of an email
- Copy the entire text from the email to your clipboard.
- Run Principalm Connect.
- Click “Schools”.
- Under the License section, click “Edit”.
- Choose “Paste from Clipboard”.
- The license will load into the license box, and information about the license will appear under the box. Click “OK”.
- After selecting the file, it will load into the license box, and information about the license will appear under the box. Click “OK”.
