Principalm+ (v7.3) Adds Support for BlackBerry® Devices
New Name Reflects Flexible Licensing and Pricing Plan
Langley, British Columbia (April 3, 2009) – Discovery Software today announced the release of Principalm+ (v7.3). This latest version of Principalm, renamed Principalm+, now includes a number of significant customer enhancements as well as the introduction of a new licensing and pricing structure.
Support for BlackBerry® OS 4.3 or later has been added to the existing lineup of supported devices and operating systems that includes Windows Mobile Pocket PC, Windows Smartphone, and Palm®.
A new flexible, modularized licensing plan has also been introduced to existing and new customers alike. The Contacts module includes basic student demographic data and is provided to all users. The Classes and Conduct modules are add-on modules and provide information on classes, grades and attendance; as well as incidents and outcomes respectively. Elementary schools in particular will find that the Contacts module is all that may be required as this provides school staff with the critical information they will need on their students.
Additionally, the pricing model for Principalm+ has been changed. Annual subscription fees are now determined by the number of students enrolled within a school, rather than on a site-based, per school basis.
Discovery Software values their loyal customers and is offering significant discounts on annual licensing fees to schools with lapsed subscriptions, and to districts wanting to expand the use of Principalm+ to additional schools throughout their jurisdictions. Customers should contact their Discovery Software representative or visit discoverysoftware.com/support/ for more information.
